The sound of equipment, life saving apparatus, shrieking beds and wheelchairs; all contributed to the worsening pain, heightening fear, confusion and emotional upheaval.
Hospitals save life. No doubt about it. And they welcome you with open arms and warm smiles. But entering its door could give you bumps.
Going in there many times gave me many apprehensions. It's like the last frontier, the boundary between life and death, the terminal to nowhere. And your bed will be your ride that would take you to an unknown place you wouldn't want to be. And trust me it is not a fun ride. It is scary.
